The 6th January was the first significant day of 2018, from a personal and professional point of view. I turned 30 and also had my first wedding of the year making up the lovely Bridget and her sister at Shrigley Hall Hotel in Cheshire.
It was a beautiful morning, the views from the hotel were stunning and the christmas decorations had yet to be taken down so the hotel still had an air of magical festivitity about it too.
Bridget went against tradition and wore a beautiful silver gown, her make up and hair finished the look off perfectly. It was almost vintage without meaning to be and she looked every inch the stunning bride.
I'm sure a lot of people wouldn't work their birthday but I actually really enjoyed being able to enter my 30s doing what I love. I am so grateful to now be working for myself and getting the opportunity to work with so many lovely brides that I dont really see it as a job anymore but rather a hobby that pays the bills!
It was a wonderful way to start my birthday celebrations off and once my work was done I headed back to Romiley for a wonderful family celebration organised by my hubby which meant my 2nd major make over of 2018 was actually on myself : )
